From Urbis News:
Urbis has yet to introduce tools for publishers to find talent, but
some publishers are ahead of the game. Michael Gustie, associate editor of
the Santa Clara Review, found two new authors for his upcoming issue on
Urbis.
Founded in 1869, the Santa Clara review has a long history of a
pioneering spirit. It started out publishing frontier writing, and is one of
the first literary publications on the West Coast. Urbis author Laura
Cushing (Charisma)is published in the current issue which includes an interview with Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Good Omens) and non-fiction by Beverly Denofio (Riding in Cars with Boys).
Laura Cushing (urbis username: Charisma) is a thirty-five year old New
Jersey native. Her short story, Mudo is a personable narrative told
from the perspective of a musician named Michael who suffers from severe
social anxiety.

California People is now on the Winner's Circle page at Life for Change. They called me today and asked me some questions about the Michael-series and what I write and such- don't know if they're planning on adding them up to the site or what.
